Imagination is key. I love to create. I began long before I considered it creating; finger painting which developed into accomplished pastels, the progression of which still hangs in my parent's house. I dove into the art of quilting when I decided being a grandmother was not a requirement. I love to quilt! I love putting many individual pieces together to create a beautiful, useful item. Quilting is such a rewarding experience and I enjoy seeing the faces of friends and family who have received my quilts as gifts. Sewing is a huge release for me and I'm terribly excited at the prospect of my sewing pieces all over the country!
I'm located in Philadelphia area in Pennsylvania and spend my afternoons as an accountant. Terribly thrilling work, but this part of my life helps to exercise my creative side.Since beginning to quilt, I have been creating earrings, cross stitching, painted glass, blankets, scarves; the list grows with each passing day. Hopefully soon I'll learn to crochet and will perfect my knitting. If I can find instructions on google, I'll probably try it!
