QUILTING QUESTIONS

Are all the quilts handmade?
     Yes! All quilts are carefully hand pieced, machine sewn and quilted by Nicole.

How long should I expect a quilt to take?
     With the exception of higher demand times, a basic quilt will be completed in three to four weeks of payment receipt. The time could change depending on the size of the quilt, the intricacy of the quilt top layout and quilting design. When you contact us with your desired quilt idea, we will narrow down the time frame for you.

Can I have a border ?
     Absolutely! Borders can be added if they are not already present in the design you choose. Please check with us for any additional fabric requirements or change in price.

Do I supply the fabric ?
     You can! If you’d like to match all your own colors, just let us know and we can provide the yardage requirements. If not, we will be happy to shop for the fabrics you desire.

How will I know that you're creating the quilt I'm picturing?
     With the aid of our trusty computer, we will design many quilt top possibilities that include your fabric choices. If you come up with your own design, we can add the fabric selections and will send you design layouts of the quilt top. You can change or alter anything you’d like and a design will not begin until you are completely satisfied. You will know exactly how the quilt will look before construction begins.

FABRIC BOWL QUESTIONS

What is a fabric bowl and how do I use it?
     A fabric bowl is a bowl made of fabric with a stiff inner liner. There could be two different patterns on the inside and outside of the bowl, or they could be the same. Following are a couple pictures suggesting different uses of a fabric bowl:

    

ORDERING QUESTIONS

How do I order a quilt or bowl exactly like one of the examples?
     Just send an email to sales@astitchindesign.com and specify the name of the item you chose. Feel free to change the colors on the items, but please be as specific as possible (so we can imagine the same colors you are). If you would like to purchase your own fabric so it matches the space perfectly, just let us know! If you'd like to speak to someone personally, please email your phone number and the best time to reach you and we'll contact you as soon as possible.

How do I order a quilt or bowl that is not shown in the examples?
     Please send an email to sales@astitchindesign.com and provide a picture or an example of what you would like. If you know the name of the pattern, that would be great! If you're just not sure exactly what you want, we are completely understanding and would love to work with you until we get the exact idea of what you would like. Feel free to browse the internet to find pictures of what you have in mind. Many quilts for customers have started this way!

What if I want to buy my own fabric but have no idea how much or how many colors to buy?
     As long as you can let us know what design you want the top of the quilt to be, we can come up with dimensions and number of fabrics to be used to make your shopping trip easier.

What forms of payment do you accept?
     
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or direct from bank payments through our payment processor, PayPal. We also accept checks and money orders. Please contact us for additional information.

How do I know you received the payment ?
     Once we receive your order and payment, we will contact you. Please be sure to include your contact information (name, email address, and/or phone number) along with your payment.

POLICIES, GUARANTEES & LEGAL INFO

     The artist reserves the right of artistic license. Colors, design, or combination are subject to interpretation. The product will be created with the promise of authenticity. Each item will be uniquely crafted as closely to the customer’s specifications as possible, yet without jeopardizing the artisan’s style. Authenticity with all items is guaranteed.

Terms Of Sale: Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your item, you may return it within 15 days of purchase for a full refund. All items (except custom items) may be returned for a full refund (less shipping and insurance) if returned in the same conditioned as received. All returns must be pre-approved and authorized. Please e-mail us with the reason for return. Once authorization is obtained, the item must be send back the same way it was received (i.e. Two Day Priority USPS).

Privacy Policy : A Stitch In Design does not sell or give access to any personal information received through orders or inquiries including but not limited to names, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, or payment information.
